Destination Auction has been moved completely online. Auction bidding has begun and closes promptly at 7 pm EDT on Saturday, April 4, 2020. Catalog will be available for viewing on Saturday, March 21, 2020.
Below is an announcement regarding our 2020 event by our Chief Executive Officer.
"Unfortunately with the recent development of COVID-19 in Michigan and the university officials decision to suspend all classes as well as ask students to return home. Destination Auction 2020 will be moving completely online. Please be on the lookout for more information regarding our online Auction that will contain ALL of our packages!
We are disappointed with the direction that the event has had to take this year, but optimistic about taking our online presence to the next level!

Destination Auction 2020
The Hospitality Association/ The School of Hospitality Business Alumni Auction, of Michigan State University, is a premier fundraising event for the Hospitality Association and the Alumni Association, featuring spectacular individual travel and experience packages donated by alumni and other industry friends in a live auction and a silent auction. This popular event draws hundreds of community members, alumni, students, and faculty, and helps fund a number of programs in The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. A portion of the Auction proceeds is donated to two local charities: the Junior League of Lansing and the Capital Area Humane Society, and this year a portion will also go towards The Firecracker Foundation which benefits children and teens in the mid-Michigan area. With a different theme each year, Auction is an exciting, colorful event, organized and led by students in partnership with The School alumni.
