Why become a volunteer for Destination Auction?
Becoming a volunteer for Destination Auction is an amazing way to support your school. Not only do many Hospitality Business professors even give extra credit in class for volunteering, but this experience will look great on your resume!

Volunteer Positions
Live Auction Volunteers
Are you energetic with a winning personality? Live Action volunteer responsibilities include displaying packages and raising bidding interest on the various packages Auction has to offer.
Silent Auction Volunteers
Are you a cheerful and winning salesperson? Volunteer for silent auction! Silent Auction volunteers are given a variety of auction items and must pitch sales talks to potential buyers throughout the night. It’s a fun and upbeat experience and may even result in a fast-paced lightning round at the end of the night!
Food and Beverage Volunteers
Do you have a passion for food and beverage? Love to be in the middle of the excitement? Volunteer for food and beverage and you will be a key part of an incredible experience. Volunteers provide a high level of food and beverage service while acting as the welcoming first point of contact for guests at Auction.
Event Design/Set Up Volunteers
Interested in a career in event planning? Love taking a boring room and making it look fabulous? Then Event Design is for you! Not only is volunteering for Event Design a great resume builder, it is tons of fun! Volunteers will assist with set up for the Alumni Auction.

Important!
The volunteer training dates are March 10th, 11th and 12th at 6pm - 7:30pm in the HB dining room, located in the Kellogg basement. Volunteers must come to one of these training sessions in order to be assigned a volunteer position.
